Leah Baker is the founder of Cozi-Roots and a seasoned expert in newborn and family care, with over 25 years of hands-on experience. She is a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Newborn Care Specialist, birth and postpartum doula, and lactation educator. Her earlier career as a police officer honed her skills in attention to detail, crisis response, and multitasking—qualities that now enhance her caregiving approach.

Leah holds a BA in Political Science from Clayton State University and studied abroad in England at both Northumbria University and Richmond University. She is a member of respected organizations such as the Newborn Care Specialist Association, International Nanny Association, MaternityWise International, Dona International, and the Atlanta Nanny Society.

Her specialties include NICU and preemie care, reflux management, sleep shaping, feeding support, and postpartum recovery. Leah has worked with high-profile families and brings deep knowledge of privacy, discretion, and individualized care. She also assists families in finding and placing professional nannies who match their unique household needs.

Having lived and studied in three countries and traveled to over fifteen, Leah offers a global perspective and cultural fluency—including familiarity with English, Spanish, and Mandarin. She’s passionate about empowering parents with education, tools, and confidence for their parenting journey.

Outside of work, Leah enjoys the outdoors, traveling, sports, and time with her dog, family, and friends. Her warm, personalized care has made her a trusted partner to countless families navigating the early years of parenting.
